IS VOIP FOR YOU?

Whether VOIP is for you or not rely on a number of factors. Some economic and quality considerations should be examined.

1) WHAT IS IT GOING TO COST ?

Assuming that you already have a broadband service, a router, and a Windows PC to run the softphone, the cost will be minimal.
 
The $999  Fee will cover the Setup of your BetterPABX Phone Server. From this point if you are using your computers as the extensions then you need to also buy quality headsets. We sell such headsets for under $50 each. Cheap headset will have ongoing quality issues resulting in you and your callers having very degraded sound quality.
Our main suggestion here is an IP Phone Such as from Cisco, Polycom or we can assist you with one that we use. This is the best soluition as it does not rely on your computer to be working properly to work.

Then you either activate your VOIP account and connect your server to our phone network over the internet. However for more profesional companys the best option is still to use ISDN phone lines (we can provide) for the incomming calls. The lease you have to rely on the Internet the better. The point to our system is all the features it offers while you can make calls over the internet to reduce your costs for quality reasons we suggest all customers use traditional digital ISDN phone lines for incomming calls. (With such good phone rates we use them for outgoing as well from Better Telecom). 

Many customers also forget the cost of support, The BetterPABX is a complex server that a novice will easily mess up if they play with it. Best is to get profesionals like us to provide setup assistance and support for an hourly fee only when required. Most customers after they have setup the server forget about it.. That’s how it should be, just like ours!

All these “Major Expenses” will be recovered when you receive your monthly phone bills! No more cost in calling the office from home or the other way around if you have a remote extension in your home and any other staff or remote offices that call oftern.

2) WHAT WILL THE QUALITY OF THE PHONE CALLS BE?

If you are expecting the quality to be as good as your existing PSTN calls, you will be somewhat disappointed, but if you will be happy with a quality that is not quite but close to your existing PSTN calls, you might be in luck.
